This week trip to Triplicane temple and I came to know about the PagalPathu and RaapPathu festivals that precede and succeed the Vaikunta Ekadasi which is celebrated on 30th December 2006. I would like to share the details of the various functions here:

Pagal Pathu:

1. 20 December 2006 Venkatakrishnan
2. 21 December 2006 Venugopalan
3. 22 December 2006 Kalinga Narthanam
4. 23 December 2006 Chakravarthi Thirumagan
5. 24 December 2006 Yenik Kannan
6. 25 December 2006 Paramapadhanadhan
7. 26 December 2006 Bhagasura Vadham
8. 27 December 2006 Ramar Pattabhishekam
9. 28 December 2006 Muralik Kannan
10. 29 December 2006 Nachiyar Thirukkolam

There would be a deity procession within the temple everyday between 1800 and 2000 hours Indian Time.

30 December 2006 Vaikunta Ekadasi  (Parama Padha Vaasal Thirappu 0430 hours Indian Time)

1. From 0600 to midnight darshan
2. Paramapadha Vaasal Darshan is scheduled from 31st December 2006 to 7th January 2007 everyday at 1800 hours.
3. Paramapadha Vaasal Darshan is scheduled 8th January 2007 everyday at 1100 hours.
