Ashada Shukla Ekadasi Celebrations in Pandurangan Temple, Adambakkam

Pandurangan temple in Adambakkam, Chennai is planning and organizing the Ashada Shukla Ekadasi Celebrations from July 9 to July 14. This Ekadasi is also known as 'Shayana Ekadasi' wherein Lord Vishnu falls asleep and wakes up after four months in Karthigai. This function is being jointly organized by Adambakkam Sri Karpaga Vinayagar, Sri Pandurangan Bhaktha Samajam and Shree Vittal Bhajan Mandali.

For the first three days, there would be spiritual discourses by Thiruchi Kalyanaraman. On July 14, abhishekams would be performed to the moolavar from 0630 hours to 1000 hours. From 1000 hours to 1900 hours, there would be "Sparisa Dharshanam" wherein, devotees would be allowed into the Sanctum Sanctorum to touch the feet of the dieties.
