Thanks to Parthasarathy Swamy for his email intimation that I came to know of a Laksharchanai which is being planned to be organized at Kattawalkam Sri Viswaroopa Lakshmi Narasimhan temple.

Velacherry Sri. M. K. Raghavan Iyengar group (Jai Shri Yatra Travels) is organizing a tour to the Srinivasa temples towards the first saturday of the upcoming Purattasi month. The tour spans from September 21, 2007 to September 23, 2007. The price of the tour has been fixed at INR 1975 per head, which covers breakfast, lunch, dinner along with dormitory accomodation for the pilgrims. For the commutation purposes, it has been planned to deploy a 2x2 35 seater hitech pushback air bus.

1. The bus starts at 9PM on 29th June 2007 from Chennai and returns on 20th September 2007 night around 10 PM.
2. Only one bus is being planned for the trip. No second bus would be organized.

The price of the tour has been fixed at INR 1575 per head, which covers breakfast, lunch, dinner along with dormitory accomodation for the pilgrims. 1. This trip is Point-To-Point between Chennai and Ahobilam and return back.
2. The itinerary of the travel is to have the darshan of all nine Nava Narasimhas in Sri Ahobilam.

Nallur Sri Sundara Kothandarama Temple Renovation

I came to learn from Sri. Ramesh in Raamabhakthi Yahoogroups about the temple renovation programme of Nallur Sri Sundara Kothandaramar temple. This temple is located at Nallur village near Kollidam in Sirkali Taluk of Nagappatinam district. This temple is really a very ancient one and enshrines Lord Sundara Kothandarama, Lordess Sita, Lord Lakshmana and Lord Anjaneya.

Sri Ramesh has also made yeoman efforts and created a website for the temple over here. The temple is currently in a very dilapitated condition, requiring immediate attention towards its repair and renovation. It is learnt from Sri Ramesh that they have also initiated the renovation processes of the temple with the Balalayam being done on 17th June 2007. They have also opened avenues for other interested devotees to contribute thier might to the noble cause. They have formed an exclusive trust purely for the purpose of this temple service and registered the same with 'Income Tax Authorities'.
