Ten Commandments of Sri Swami Koorathazhwan

Thanks to Vijayaraghavan for sharing a nice collection of points that we would need to follow in our day-to-day life. I just thought I would share the same with other readers. A quick English translation of the same is below:

1. Let us uphold humanitarian traits, compassion and honesty always.


2. Let us cling to the Lotus feet of our Acharya Sri Ramanuja which is the only way to salvation and liberation from mundane dragnets.


3. Let us now harm any living being physically, mentally or verbally.


4. Let us keep distance from those who harm us. If possible, let us help them too.


5. Let us realise the greatness of Sriman Narayana as the supreme Lord.


6. Let us feed the hungry sages with good food.


7. Let us cultivate the habit of being patient listeners to everyone.


8. Let us avoid 'showing off' as 'higher classes' just by virtue of birth, wealth or education.


9. Let us uphold the good deeds done by our elders and what bad they avoided let us also avoid them.


10. Let us always think of the great qualities of the Lord Sriman Narayana.
