While learning about the PagalPathu and RaapPathu programme, I also came to know about the Thiruppavai Upanyasam scheduled in the temple. Here are the details of the same.

This week trip to Triplicane temple and I came to know about the PagalPathu and RaapPathu festivals that precede and succeed the Vaikunta Ekadasi which is celebrated on 30th December 2006. I would like to share the details of the various functions here:

Pagal Pathu:

Following the previous years' post  onThiruppavai over here.  This month, Margazhi month began on December 16. It was a great blessing of the Lord that I started on the pilgrimage to Sabarimala right on Margazhi day.

Let us pray to Andal and Sri Ranganatha for peace and prosperity in our life and for the world.I think yesterday, Sri Rangam temple has also started the celebrations of Pagal Pathu, which would be followed by Vaikunta Ekadasi on December 30 and Raap Pathu after that.

It is a great thing that you also got the award on the very holy Kaisika Ekadasi day (His Avatara Dhinam).

The laminated award carrying the eight gram gold medal with the image of Sri Malolan is a great treasure for you and for the all hardships that you have gone through to bring out successfully the literary works on Sundara Simham.
